$30 MILLION DONATION
Mujeeb Ijaz, the CEO and founder of “one next energy,”. Has donated $30 million to Turkey to help those affected by two major earthquakes. That caused widespread destruction in 10 cities. Ejaz is a battery systems engineer with over 30 years of experience in developing electric vehicles and battery system technologies. Throughout his career, he has focused on improving battery safety, range, and cost to advance the adoption of electric vehicles.
WHO IS Mjueeb Ijaz?
Mujeeb Ijaz has led the development of several high-profile projects. Including the HySeries Drive Ford Edge, the Ford Fusion Hydrogen 999, and the Chrysler ENVI project. As president of A123’s Venture Technologies unit, he oversaw the development of Li-Ion battery solutions for electric vehicles. Most recently, Ejaz developed new energy storage solutions as a senior director at Apple.
Mujeeb Ijaz’s donation will go towards helping those affected by the earthquakes in Turkey. Which caused widespread damage and displaced many people. His donation is a significant contribution to the ongoing global aid campaigns for the affected people in the region.
Throughout his career, he has focused on advancing the adoption of electric vehicles by improving battery safety, range, and cost. He has led teams at Ford Motor Co,,. Where he developed several notable projects including Ford’s Edge with HySeries Drive. The Ford Fusion Hydrogen 999 which set a land speed record in 2007, and the Chrysler ENVI project. As the president of A123’s Venture Technologies unit, he and his team developed Li-Ion battery solutions for electric vehicles. He was also a senior director at Apple where he developed innovative energy storage solutions. Mujeeb holds 31 U.S. patents in the field of battery technology. And energy management systems and is a graduate of Virginia Tech.
